Eastside Lives – Lives Revisited Through Heritage

Eastside Lives – Lives Revisited Through Heritage, is a unique community focused heritage programme inspired by the history of The Old Market House and developed by Kilcooley Women’s Centre.

Supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players, Eastside Lives will reach out to those who don’t usually engage in heritage, telling the untold stories of the past and bringing life to the bricks and mortar of The Old Market House.

Through a specially curated programme of workshops, talks, walking tours, interactive sessions and more, Eastside Lives will include local arts and crafts, music, culture and conversation to bring the history of The Old Market House, and, by extension,  of Bangor, to life. Eastside Lives will launch on June 1st 2024 with the story gathering project ‘Memories and Stories’.
